Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle medium (DMEM) is formulated to preserve and maintain the growth of a large panel of mammalian cells. Supplemented with fetal bovine serum, DMEM High Glucose is suitable for the proliferation of cells with high energy requirements. Its formulation does not contain L-Glutamine and sodium pyruvate.

Glucose concentration: 4.5g/L
To supplement with L-Glutamine:
Addition of L-Glutamine 100X, 200mM solution (ref: X0550): 20 ml/l
Addition of L-Glutamine powder (ref: P1031): 0.584 g/l
Supplements should be added to the medium as sterile supplements.
